Mesh Drum Head 22 inch Bass Drum
Why 682Drums mesh heads?
682Drums mesh heads are made of two layers of fine woven mesh and are extremely strong and durable. The XS-PRO+ mesh heads have an additional RealHit layer, to make the ‘real feel’ even better. The mesh drum heads have a natural stick rebound, similar to acoustic drum heads.
Mesh heads are a great option when you want that ‘real kit feel’ at a lower volume! Play without upsetting neighbors!
If you want to make your acoustic drum kit quieter, you can simply replace your “normal” drum heads into mesh heads. This will turn your acoustic kit into a silent practice kit.
You can also add the 682Drums Edge triggers and with a drum module you have a great looking electronic drum kit! (Check Drum Triggers for more information).
682Drums Mesh Heads are the heads of choice for most electronic drum kits. Lots of electronic drummers replace the mesh heads of their Alesis or 2BOX drum kit with 682Drums mesh heads, to make these great kits even better!
You can choose two types of mesh heads:
- XS-PRO mesh heads with 2 layers.
- XS-PRO+ mesh heads with 2 layers + a RealHit layer. The RealHit layer is an extra layer which not only improves the feel of your kit but also the looks!
Customers often ask us the question how long our mesh heads last.
Well, many of our customers need to replace their mesh heads only once every 5 years!
In case of the mesh drum head 22 inch bass drum, we recommend a solid beater and not a felt beater. A felt beater could damage your mesh head.
