The conversion is very easy, you only need a pair of scissors!
The 682Drums conversion kit will greatly improve the playability of your Alesis pads, or other kits with Medeli mylar pads. The mesh heads have a natural stick rebound. Better to prevent than to cure RSI! The ambient sound will be reduced (-20dB ). Play without upsetting neighbors!
You can choose two types of mesh heads:
- XS-PRO mesh heads with 2 layers.
- XS-PRO+ mesh heads with 2 layers + a RealHit layer. The RealHit layer is an extra layer which not only improves the feel of your kit but also the looks!

I have already received two shipments from you to convert my extensive Alesis kit to a mesh version. The result is very good, not only does everything make much less noise, but the playing pleasure is also much higher. Since I’m a pretty heavy drummer but can’t play acoustically at home, I hope the durability will be good too. But so far I have been very positively surprised.
I just wanted to get rid of that 😉

ordered a full set of mesh head conversions for my old alesis dm10 kit ( 8″ kick, 10″ snare, 3 x 8″ rack toms, 2 x 10″ floor toms)…the conversion was very easy to install (took about 5 mins per drum) and they play so much better now!! much better dynamic range (I use BFD via midi…but even just using the dm10 brain) and they feel much nicer re: stick bounce, etc….and also basically silent (ie no plastic thumping noise)
